Do I tell her? Just lay it all out? Why the hell not? I’ve never been known to mince words before. “I lied to you.”
She rears back like I startled her and I curse myself for being such an idiot. “About what?”
“I don’t want to be just friends, Indiana. I may be crazy presumptuous right now but the other night…” I trail off, gaging her reaction.
“The other night what?” she whispers, her eyes searching mine.
“The other night was better than great. It was… I can’t stop thinking about it. About you, in my bed, and I want you there again.”

Indy & Noah...
Indy has just returned to Chicago. A College professor and is focused on her career. Her friend convinces her to go out to a local bar for drinks with her brothers hockey team.
Noah is on that team and he also knows Indy but hasn't seen her in awhile. After several drinks and Noah offering to take her home since her friend left early these two have an amazing night together.
Indy believes after the one night that's it but Noah has other plans. These two start a friends with benefits relationship but it really progresses to much more so very quickly.
I just adored these two together. The passion and connection that these two share was incredible. Their story was amazing and so enjoyable.
